Directions & Accommodations

For the first time in a long time, our dorms will be open for Reunion Weekend.

One of the benefits of moving Reunion to June is that the dorms will be available. Of course, if you would rather not stay on campus, you still have the option to stay in a hotel. To learn more, take a look at the options below.

Option 1 - Stay On Campus

This year, the dorms will be open to you and your guest(s). The fee is $100 per person for the entire weekend. Reservations can be made on a first-come basis when you register for Reunion.

  • Class years will be housed together; single registrants will be housed with same-gender classmates.
  • Let us know if you and a classmate want to be roommates.
  • There are no private bathrooms, but there are designated same-gender bathrooms.
  • Sheets, towels, and pillows are provided.
  • Please plan for the weather. The halls do not have air conditioning and we will not provide fans.
  • Please leave valuables at home. The rooms will not be locked.
  • Pets are not allowed on campus.

Need a special accommodation? Please let us know and we will do our best to meet your needs.

Option 2 - Stay Off Campus

For your convenience, Pomfret has blocked rooms at a number of area hotels. To take advantage of block rates, please contact the hotels directly and tell them Pomfret sent you.

There are two good restaurants within walking distance of Pomfret. Downtown Putnam also has a number of great options. For lunch, we suggest the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret. For dinner, we suggest 85 Main in Putnam.

The Quiet Corner is home to a number of small bed and breakfasts, and a smattering of larger hotels. The Inn at Woodstock Hill, about 10 minutes away, is a wonderful choice with a great restaurant.
