The mission of the PPEC is three-fold:

• to better connect the parent community with school leadership
• to promote robust relationships within the parent community
• to welcome new families to the Hilltop

Through on-campus meetings, the council has a direct line to the inner workings of the School and its processes, and is able to relay a shared message to promote the School during events both on- and off-campus. Additionally, council members engage in support projects and functions that aid Pomfret School. If you are interested in volunteering with the PPEC, please fill this form.

Members

The members of this group are selected through a recommendation process. Names may be given to Louisa Jones P '04, at ljones@pomfret.org. An individual is considered an eligible member of the council as long as their child/children is/are enrolled in the School. New members are added each fall. The Council meets three times a year: October (during Family Weekend), January, and April.
