A group of students who work with the Office of Advancement in supporting outreach to Pomfret alumni. Through phone calls, helping with mailings and greeting guests on campus, they are a valuable asset to the work the office does in bridging the gap between the Hilltop and Pomfret alumni. The Ambassadors connect with the Alumni Association Executive Council during campus visits which often provides for internship and mentoring opportunities.

Book Club meets once a month to converse literature and discuss chosen books.

Classic Film Club is an informal club that screens “classic” films and then shows select movies to the school community on most Sunday afternoons throughout the year.

"GSA" stands for Gender and Sexuality Alliance. We are an open door, open minded, open hearted LGBTQ awareness group on campus. We seek to create a safe environment and prevent bullying of LGBTQ members within the Pomfret community. We seek to educate the community about the rights and perspectives of LGBTQ people. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend our bi weekly meetings and seasonal events throughout the year. Hillel is the Jewish organization on campus, open to all community members of all faiths. Hillel aims to foster Judaism, Jewish culture and heritage and engage the larger Pomfret community in reflection and learning. The group celebrates the major holidays, and hosts events and meals. It aims to make all Jewish students feel welcome on campus however they observe Judaism.

Hillel operates with the support of the Diversity Council, Student Activities, the Chaplain’s office, and Dining Services. Students wishing to keep kosher are encouraged to coordinate with our accommodating Dining Services to plan meals.

Open to all students who are interested in learning about the stock market and other sorts of investments, either for a future career or personal knowledge. The group meets monthly to learn about various investment related topics such as P/E ratios, dividends, penny stocks, compounding, and dollar cost averaging. It also runs a yearlong stock market simulation game on an Internet website.

Key Club, the largest club on campus – over 100 students strong – a club and community service project rolled into one big opportunity. Key Club members give tours of Pomfret to prospective students and their parents. Ordinarily, Pomfret students give about one tour per week to families.

Invites all students to compete against 12 other Eastern Connecticut schools in the New London County Math League. Each of the six competitions consists of five written rounds of three math questions each and one team round, which take approximately one and a half hours. Teams that do well in the local league are invited to compete at the State and New England Competitions held in April and May. The most talented individuals are also eligible to join the Connecticut All-State team that competes at Penn State in May. Members meet with the faculty advisor one hour per week, or as arranged, to prepare for the contests. Teams have also competed in the American Math Competitions, the Worcester Polytechnical Institute meet, and the Harvard-MIT meet.

The Page Turners meet once a month. Students choose a book, read it on their own, and meet to discuss it. The club utilizes the book club features on www.goodreads.com to facilitate discussions and dialog during the course of reading the book. At the discussion meeting, the group usually chooses the book for the following month. It's not necessary to have read the book to attend the discussion - it's open for anyone who is up for a conversation about the topic of the book.

WBVC 91.9 FM is Pomfret's eclectic student radio channel.
