With a distinctive history, Pyne has long been part of Pomfret’s campus fabric. Once the school infirmary, the house was relocated down the hill in the mid-1990s to make room for the Centennial Academic and Arts Center. Pyne features ten student rooms — singles, doubles, and triples — and is the closest dorm to Corzine Athletic Center. Its inviting common room, complete with a flat-screen TV, microwave, and comfortable seating, is a favorite spot for dorm meetings, movie nights, and late-evening conversations.
