This course closely investigates the functions taught in Honors Algebra II. This course provides students with a more extensive examination of linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Additional topics covered include vectors, matrices, sequences and series, and conic sections. Emphasis is placed on mathematical modeling and problem solving.

Departmental approval is required for this course. Prerequisite: Algebra II Honors or high achievement in Integrated Mathematics III or its equivalent.
