ADV Calculus II
This second year Advanced Calculus course will include a review of the methods of washers, disks and shells. The derivatives and integrals of inverse trigonometric functions are studied along with the method of integration by parts. Parametric and polar equations are studied. Many topics in sequences and series, including the Taylor Series are explored. During the spring term, multi-variable calculus is studied including the directional derivative, gradients and the critical points of surfaces.
Departmental approval is required for this course. Prerequisite: Advanced Calculus I or its equivalent.
