Global Issues in Historical Perspective I, II, & III
This course explores major global issues through a historical lens, examining how past events, decisions, and movements have shaped the world we live in today. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the interconnectedness of global societies and the historical roots of contemporary challenges. Through case studies from various regions, students will critically analyze the causes and consequences of global developments and consider diverse perspectives across time and cultures. The course encourages critical thinking, discussion, and research, equipping students with the tools to engage thoughtfully with today’s most pressing global concerns.
