Current Events I, II, III: Contemporary World History & Current Events is a yearlong elective series, media-focused history course that teaches students how to understand, analyze, and evaluate the news shaping today’s world. Organized into three terms—U.S. Politics, Global Affairs, and Human Rights—the course emphasizes media literacy, source evaluation, and evidence-based reasoning. These electives do not need to be taken in sequential order. Open to juniors and seniors.
