Through his work, we will study the man who was obsessed with testing his own limits, whether he was facing down charging bulls in Spain or outrunning the FBI in his final days. This course hunts for the truth behind the legend, learning a little of that legendary style along the way. Join us as we cross-examine his legendary life and spare, rhythmic prose to see what happens when a writer’s reality is more dangerous than his fiction.
