This year-long, advanced-level course, designed for dedicated theater enthusiasts, provides a thorough exploration of performance analysis and technique. Students will progress through three performance electives—Comedy (fall), Directing (winter), and Scene Lab (spring)—at an advanced level, culminating in a public performance. Throughout the year, students will refine their creative process, develop confidence in their acting abilities, and learn techniques for approaching performance material of contrasting style, structure and context.
