For the dancer seeking more independence and rigor, this course runs concurrently with Dance Composition and Repertory and will allow the advanced student to occupy a leadership role in the conceptualization and creation of the end-of-term dance showcase for that group. Advanced students also conduct research projects and give presentations on dance topics of their choosing, and are required to create at least one full original dance piece, to be showcased for the community at the end of the term. 

Departmental approval is required for this course.
