Advanced Dance is a fast-paced dance composition and performance workshop for highly motivated and experienced young artists. Students are expected to create original dance work within a variety styles and techniques, and to deepen their ability to teach, create, learn, perform and discuss dance in a nuanced way. The term concludes with students performing original work in a community-wide showcase. Students are assessed on citizenship and engagement, creativity, analytical skills and positive contributions to the class environment.  Departmental approval is required for this course.
