This intermediate acting course provides a practical exploration of partner work in dramatic scenes. Working in teams of two to three, students will engage in thorough beat analysis, deconstruct their characters’ objectives, tactics and given circumstances, and practice how to make their findings visible to an audience. This focus on the give and take of performance, designed to create a more generous and open performer, will enhance students’ communication and collaboration skills.
