The Pomfret School Golf Team boasts a quite impressive record over the past ten years and plays its home matches at Quinnatisset Country Club, a hidden gem in the quiet corner of Connecticut. We also play tournaments at other extraordinary golf courses including The Kittansett Club, The Course at Yale, Pleasant Valley, and Wannamoisett Country Club. We play our end-of-year tournament in a notable 24-team field including some of the strongest prep-school golf programs in New England including Andover, Choate, Exeter, and Hotchkiss. We have had recent graduates go on to play at Villanova University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and Bates College. Our focus is playing by the rules, competitive attitude, competitive scores and, most importantly, sportsmanship.
