Baseball at Pomfret School has enjoyed a long tradition, marked by spirited and smart play, sportsmanship, and a winning attitude. Teams have been fielded since the very first days of the school. Pictures of the early teams, in their gray wool uniforms, hang in the halls alongside epic box scores and signed balls from legends past.

Today, the tradition of great baseball lives on. Pomfret plays in the highly competitive WNEPBL against the likes of Suffield Academy, Salisbury, Berkshire, and Williston Northampton.

Spring-training trips to Florida and South Carolina have been integral to our success, helping to build tremendous team chemistry and hone skills before the contests begin in earnest each April. From the chilly days of late March to the sunny days of late May, the crack of the bat and the cheers from Mallory Field can be heard all across campus.
