Dylan-Ernst Schäfer hails from Port Angeles, Washington. He earned a print journalism degree from the University of Southern California with a fine arts minor in photography in 2006. Since, he has taken graduate school classes at Boston University, worked at the Boston Globe and taught students from Oakland to Dallas to the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. For 11 years, Dylan worked just down the road at Marianapolis Preparatory School. He has experience coaching ultimate frisbee, disc golf, soccer, wrestling and tennis. Dylan coparents his daughter Zoë and is looking forward to sharing his passions for the outdoors and sports with the Pomfret community, outside of teaching Humanities II and senior elective English.

Since receiving her BA from Connecticut College (1995), Anouk has worked primarily as a Network Administrator for the Town of Lexington in Massachusetts and at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Anouk moved to the technology department in 2016 and is happy to help students, faculty and staff with their technology needs. Her competitive Ultimate Frisbee and Track & Field days are now long behind her but she still enjoys weekly early morning runs with her friends.
