Dylan-Ernst Schäfer hails from Port Angeles, Washington. He earned a print journalism degree from the University of Southern California with a fine arts minor in photography in 2006. Since, he has taken graduate school classes at Boston University, worked at the Boston Globe and taught students from Oakland to Dallas to the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. For 11 years, Dylan worked just down the road at Marianapolis Preparatory School. He has experience coaching ultimate frisbee, disc golf, soccer, wrestling and tennis. Dylan coparents his daughter Zoë and is looking forward to sharing his passions for the outdoors and sports with the Pomfret community, outside of teaching Humanities II and senior elective English.

Ben Rosenberg holds a B.A. in English Literature from Colorado College and an M.A. in English and American Literature from New York University. Prior to working at Pomfret, Ben spent two summers working as a Teaching Intern at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT, where he taught English and worked as a residential advisor and Head of House. Ben currently teaches two sections of Humanities II: English and is excited to work with students as they navigate challenging moral and ethical issues in American literature. Outside of the classroom, Ben enjoys reading, drawing, playing music, and managing his fantasy football team.
