Soccer – Girls

After graduating from Pomfret School in 2005, Tim studied at Amherst College, where he graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in French and Sociology, and he earned his Master’s in French Linguistics and Pedagogy from Middlebury College in 2014. Tim studied in Paris in 2008, and he served as a teaching assistant in Toulon, France, from 2009 to 2010 before he began his teaching career at Pomfret School. Tim has extensive travel experience in France, and he has led language immersion trips with Putney Student Travel, where he taught students French while traveling to five different regions in France, and with Pomfret’s L’Atelier au Château. Over the course of his tenure at Pomfret, Tim has taught all levels of high school French, coached soccer and basketball, served as the head of a dormitory, been the Form Dean for the Class of 2016, and acted as an advisor. Tim also led the School’s Accreditation Self-Study in 2016, has served on the Honor Board, the Faculty Council, the Diversity Council, the Leadership Committee, and various other hiring committees. He has been involved in the design and implementation of QUEST (Pomfret’s social and emotional learning program), the Student-Athlete Leadership Council, the Leadership Academy, and the SexEd program. He is a current QUEST Pillar Leader and was the Project: Pomfret (Pomfret’s Experiential Learning program) Coordinator from 2019 to 2023. He has served on Pomfret School’s Alumni Association Executive Council since 2018, on the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools Commission for Membership and Accreditation since 2017, and he participated in the Phillips Academy Leadership Development Program for the 2024-2025 academic year.
