Basketball – Girls

The goal of Girls Varsity Basketball at Pomfret is twofold: to foster a sense of team and to develop and improve upon individual skills. While improving upon individual skills is crucial for the development of the team and important for the player looking to play at the next level, nothing is more important than understanding the concept that the team always comes before the individual. The team approach has worked to develop a competitive program, one that has amassed a 176-63 record since 2007 with eleven straight trips to the New England Class B tournament, six appearances in the New England Championships, and three New England titles, most recently in 2018.
