During your trip to Pomfret, you'll interview with an admission officer and take a campus tour. Visits last approximately two hours. Because of the high demand for tour guides and admission counselors, we encourage you to schedule your visit early.
The Tour
1 Hour
On the tour, you will have a chance to walk our campus and visit our classrooms, athletic facilities, art and performance spaces, and community hubs. This is also a great time to ask questions that really matter to you. Our student tour guides are the real Pomfret experts and we encourage them to speak openly and honestly with prospective families.
The Interview
Students interview for about 20–30 minutes.
Parents spend 10–15 minutes with the same director.
During our interview season, which runs from late September to January, you will meet with an admissions counselor. We want you to have a great interview, and our counselors are here to help you share your best, truest self. As a result, your whole family will leave Pomfret with a personal connection and partner who can answer questions and offer advice throughout the admissions process.
